If you want to step away from the usual sounds, I would recommend checking out the Rooftop at The Standard DTLA this Saturday. I was lucky to catch the first one a little while ago and had an amazing grooving to songs I would never expect to actually hear being played.
Adam Auburn put it best by saying "chilled af grooves + special guests + tons of jazzy hip hop throwbacks (ATCQ, Pharcyde, De La Soul, Biggie, Tupac, Digable Planets, Gang Starr, etc)"
